Jakarta, annoying friends with people who often end up hurt because of being disappointed. Not only are feeling sick, unhealthy friendship like this can also trigger the disease is more dangerous indeed.

A study at Brandeis University shows, friendship with obnoxious people can trigger inflammation. Impacts that could arise in the long run is quite serious, among others lead to cancer, heart attacks and high blood pressure.

The cause of the emergence of deadly disease risk is none other than stress, which increases as often in conflict with that annoying friends. As we know, stress can trigger the release of certain proteins cause inflammation.

In a research report published in the journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, researchers looked at 122 young volunteers. When examined, all volunteers in good health and had no risk factors for chronic disease.

The researchers looked at the diary of the volunteers, to know the history of friendship in their daily lives. If the diary tell a lot of conflicts with friends, the volunteers are said to have a negative friendship or annoying.

The observation diary then dibandingkna with the results of laboratory examination conducted on the cheek swab of tissue inside. Components under study is one of the triggers inflammatory protein, called interleukin 6.

After than, the more often volunteers are often in conflict with friends who sucks the levels of proteins found in tissue samples of the cheeks are also getting bigger. This means that volunteers were more susceptible inflammation, so it is also susceptible to cancer and other deadly diseases.

"Privacy is very vital to your health, as well as a healthy diet," said Shelley Taylor, a social neuroscientist who led the study, as quoted from ScienceNews, Wednesday (29/02/2012).
