China is setting up a new hospital for Corona



Jakarta - China is setting up a new hospital in the city center for a coronavirus novel outbreak, as the number of infected people continues to grow. To date more than 17,000 cases have been confirmed, and the death rate has reached 361. One case of death was also found outside of China, namely in the Philippines.

Previously, China had built Huoshenshan Hospital which prepared 1,000 beds for patients, and the hospital was built in only eight days.

Quoting from the BBC, as many as 1,400 Chinese army medical staff are prepared to help patients in new hospitals. Some of them are experienced in dealing with coronavirus novel (2019-nCoV).

The second hospital in Leishenshan is scheduled for completion on Wednesday.

National Health Commission spokesman, Jiao Yahui, told Reuters that with these two new hospitals the city of Wuhan would be able to accommodate 10,000 patients, enough to handle cases that were currently suspected or confirmed.
